Remember those three "Zombie Scum" characters I drew awhile ago? I've come up with an idea for a comic revolving around them. I don't want to tell everything now, buuuut I can't hold it in.

The comic will be called "Quarter-Dead" and basically takes place a few years after a massive zombie outbreak almost tears apart this nation. The scientific community attempts to create a counterbalance to the virus, an antibody that will shut down the virus and leave the reanimated permanently dead. Instead, their "fail-safe" weapon ends up reducing the undead population by half; the other half rises again to find themselves back in control of their body. These beings, dubbed "The Quarter-Dead," help turn the war on zombies around. With America mostly safe and rebuilding itself, the Quarter-Dead find themselves outcast, forced to reside in a zone located in California under government surveillance.

The story will revolve around three friends from one of the Dead Zone's rebuilt cities (known to the Quarter-Deads as El Angel de la Muerta): Morrigan Espinosa, Hawkins "Mohawk" Richards, and "Wee" Jimmy Manson Hughes. We'll get to see how life goes on for the unliving in a society still deciding whether or not to regard them as friend and ally or potential threat and waste of resources. I don't mean to get too political with this, but I've got quite a few issues for them to all deal with.

I'm going to keep drawing reference and hopefully improve upon my skills, but when the time is right, I will start drawing the comic. I hope everyone can enjoy it as much as I'm enjoying working on this. (Who can tell I'm being serious about this? XD)
